Food from Tanzania-- Uji wa Ulezi ( Lishe) .......Mixed Grains Porridge (Vitamins)

Quantity : 1kg

Ingredients for 1kg Uji :
jowar-1/2kg (Ulezi)
Corn- 100gms
Grain- 100gms
Peanut- 100gms
Rice- 100gms
Soyabeans- 50gms ( For Adults)

Ingredients for 250ml Porridge( Meal for 1 time):
Water - 1 and 1/2 cup
Milk- 1/4 cup
Uji- 2 full spoons
Sugar according to taste

Method:
1.  Wash all the grain and let it be dry Then grind them all to make the powder. This mixture you can call Uji.
This powder we can keep for 1 month.
2. Take 1 and 1/2 cup water in a pan. Add two full spoon uji and 1/4 cup milk and stir.
3. Keep stirring this on normal flame for 15-20 minutes.
4. Add milk if you want( for children). Add butter if you want (for adults).
5. Porridge is ready to serve.
