Butter Paneer Masala

Serves : 6

Ingredients: 

2 tsp butter
1 tsp oil
2 green chilli
1tsp jeera
Ginger 1"
Garlic 4 flakes
5 onion dipped in hot water for 15 mins then grinded
3 tomatoes dipped in hot water for 15 mins then grinded
6-7 pieces of cashewnuts put in hot water for 15 mins then crushed with 4tsp milk
4 pieces cinnamon, cardamom & Laung ( crushed)
2tsp kasoori methi crushed with hand and little coriander leaves chopped
cream 100gms (optional)

Cashewnut Mixture:

cashewnuts, cinnamon, cardamom & Laung ( crushed)

Method:

1. Put oil in kadai. add jeera & when it changes color put onion to fry.
2. Add tomatoes, ginger, garlic, chilli and fry very well.
3. Add cashewnuts mixture & put salt, chilli, coriander powder, yellow powder(haldi) and fry for few minutes.
3. Add water as per consistency & boil for 10 min on low flame.
4. Add kasoori methi, paneer and coriander and boil for 2 more mins.
5. Serve hot with cream and butter.
